Lol. In my mind Country was always crap, lol. But you are from the south and I know you guys listen to that a lot down there because it's a part of the south.

Uh-oh!! Girl, if I didn't like you, I might get mad at that comment
I don't think liking or not liking country music has anything to do with being from the south. There's a lot of "yankees" that likes country. There's a lot of music that we have a common thread with and others we don't. It comes down to taste in music not from a geographical area.

The only music I still listen to from the 90's,is Mariah.
I still listen to her ,she's been my idol since age 11.
The rest of the 90's stuff, I can do without.
Too much grunge and other junk.
80's forever!

I like Maria's new song she has out! Is she getting married? She's sporting a big ole ring on her wedding finger. Isn't she dating Nick Cannon or am I getting him mixed up with the wrong girl? LOL I can't see Mariah with Nick Cannon and I cannot see John Meyer with Jennifer Anniston.
Anyway, back to the topic off hand, the 80s music - you can turn it on and it seems like it was released yesterday. The majorty of my 80s music did consist of glam rock mixed in with non glam - lol Motley Crue and Poison pretty much controlled my walkman cassette player. Gosh, I had the tapes running out all over the place! Def Leppard was good too - I never got to see them. Oh and INXS!! I wanted to marry Michael Hutchence - lol!! I saw them in concert back in 88. I have pictures from the show that have been packed up. I need to find them and think back to that time.

It does to an extent. You hear Country all the time in public places down south a lot. Not usually up here as much. And I never said that Northerners don't like or listen to Country at all. Not trying to be mean but please don't say Yankee.
